Two new products have been added to the SkyBitz tracking and information product suites. The first is Cargo Sensor and the second is Tractor/Trailer ID. These offerings will support a broader range of functionality for customers and they will be unveiled at the 2007 American Trucking Association’s Management Conference & Exposition on October 23rd in Orland, Florida. The SkyBitz Cargo Sensor uses ultrasonic technology to monitor a trailer’s entire length, detecting a typical pallet of goods virtually anywhere in the trailer through a wide range of environmental conditions. Plus, the Cargo Sensor is easy to install. The SkyBitz Tractor/Trailer ID supports current tracking by remotely, and accurately, identifying the tractor that is hooked to the trailer. Fleets can now be assured that the correct tractor is picking up the correct trailer, with the notification communicated through the SkyBitz GLS system and displayed on the InSight Web portal—Sterling, Virginia
