TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) [NASDAQ: TSYS] has been awarded a five-year, $12.25 million, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Department of Defense (DoD) with professional services to ensure communications interoperability and provide specialized testing. TCS received the first task order valued at $275,000 for interoperability and integration services to be provided during the Federal fiscal year ending September 30, 2008. TCS will support communications systems used in a variety of land, sea and air environments.
