The delivery of reusable solid rocket motors for the space shuttle will continue, thanks to a new NASA contract awarded to ATK Launch Systems. This $681 million contract reforms and extends the current contract to align production to new launch schedule requirements through September 30th, 2010. Deliveries will now be consistent with the planned retirement of the space shuttle in September of 2010.
