RESTON, VIRGINIA: August 15, 2007—Satnews Daily—Now being offered as part of their portfolio of services being offered on Mobile Satellite Ventures’ (MSV) nextgen satellite system possesses the moniker of Custom Capacity Service™. This is MSV’s new, fully customizable, contract service that may also be in effect for the life of the satellite system.
Contracting customers will be able to select their own air interface. The service may be customized according to bandwidth, satellite downlink power as well as beam coverage. Bottom line—customers will have access to their own, personal satellite at a fraction of the normal cost. Not too shabby but there is a limited amount of dedicated and unique satellite bandwidth available to private network service providers.
