[SatNews] Beijing was the location of the first meeting of the interstate Committee on Russian and Chinese satellite navigation.
The decision to form this Committee occurred in October of 2014 during a meeting between Russian Vice Prime Minister and Chinese State Council Deputy Chairman.
In the framework of the Federal Space Agency delegation official visit to the PRC, Roscosmos Head Igor Komarov met with Chinese national space administration Chairman. They signed Committee regulations and Protocol of the first working meeting and discussed a wide range of issues on Russian and Chinese cooperation in the field of rocket and space industry and rocket engines production. Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Andrey Denisov also took part in the meeting.
