[SatNews] Vocality enhances networking solutions with a range of optimization and acceleration technologies. Joining Vocality this August is Peter Slade. Peter is dedicated to delivering a diverse range of solutions for Vocality's OEM and Embedded solution community.

Peter's previous jobs include XipLink, where he was SVP responsible for Europe and Africa. Peter has also held senior sales management positions with iDirect Technologies and Gilat Satellite Networks.

Peter is a 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry. He started his career at GCHQ Cheltenham as a Telecommunications Technical Officer working with cryptographic computer and radio systems.  Since leaving GCHQ in 1984 he has been involved in bringing new digital networking products to market. This has included V-modems and digital multiplexers, X.25 packet switching and ISDN technology, Ethernet switching, Multi-Service IP concentrators and, most recently, IP VSAT platforms.

Peter holds a BTEC VII Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering from what is now Gloucestershire University.
