In-Service Support Services for RADARSAT Constellation Awarded to Airbus


Airbus Defence and Space Limited been awarded a service support contract to provide in service support services for the cryptographic subsystems of the Canadian Space Agency's RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM) and of the Department of National Defence' Polar Epsilon 2 (PE2) project.

As the designer and manufacturer of both the RCM and PE2 cryptographic subsystems, Airbus Defence and Space Limited was identified as the sole corporation having the unique expertise and experience required to perform this type of work. This is a task authorization contract for an initial period of one year, which also provides for option years, to be exercised as needed, according to information published by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
