[SatNews] Euroconsult is pleased to announce its Awards for Excellence in Satellite Communications, which are to be presented at the awards ceremony during the World Satellite Business Week. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, following the official lunch. Awards will be attributed in the following categories:
- Global Operator of the Year
- Regional Operator of the Year
- Strategic M&A Transaction of the Year
- Newcomer Satellite Operator of the Year
These awards are one of the highest accolades in the satellite industry and distinguish satellite operators and their leaders who, through their vision, innovation or performance have had a major impact on the satellite industry in the past year.
Winners are selected by a jury of experts using a rigorous set of criteria, including quantitative evaluations (financial performance indicators, EBITDA & subscriber growth, units deployed, deal size, etc.) and qualitative assessments (innovation, strategic decisions and their impact, etc.).
A separate award ceremony will be held again this year on Friday, September 13 to honor achievement in the Earth observation sector.
Both ceremonies will be held as part of the World Satellite Business Week, the must-attend satellite industry event which will take place from September 9-13 at the Westin hotel, Paris.
