Inmarsat was informed that Jet ConneX, Inmarsat’s global, high-speed Wi-Fi service for the business aviation industry, has been shortlisted for the Sapphire Pegasus Awards, a business aviation award.
The Sapphire Pegasus Awards recognizes outstanding performance by companies or individuals in the international business aviation sector. Jet ConneX is a finalist in the Innovation in Business Aviation category, and fans of the in-flight broadband solution can vote for it up until April 17.
Kurt Weidemeyer, Inmarsat’s Vice President of Business Aviation commented, “After six-years and a US$1.6 Billion investment, Jet ConneX is the only global, high-speed Wi-Fi solution available in the market today.
“It is an exponential leap forward in connectivity for business aviation, which has been validated by all the major OEMs who made Jet ConneX a linefit option.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Prague on April 28.
