LinQuest to Support the Australian Defence Satellite Communications System Project

LinQuest Corporation has been engaged by Downer Group for their satellite engineering and acquisition specialist expertise to support the Australian Defence Satellite Communications (SATCOM) System (ASDSS) project.

ASDSS is a ten-year program to develop sovereign, SATCOM-based capability enabling command and control of Australian Joint Task Forces through resilient and responsive communications.

Downer has partnered with LinQuest to leverage its decades of experience serving as the systems engineering and integration (SE&I) prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force's military SATCOM enterprise. LinQuest will provide acquisition and systems engineering services to augment the existing Australian space industry SATCOM capability.

Joe Dodd, VP of Corporate Development, LinQuest, said that for decades, LinQuest engineers have supported U.S. customers on international joint programs to ensure interoperability at the system and mission levels. The company is honored to have been selected by Downer to extend the firm'sw domestic expertise in offering direct support to Australia's future SATCOM enterprise.

Tim Dills, CEO, LinQuest, reported that the company's passion is customers' mission success and the firm is excited to bring that passion to Australia. As the U.S. and its closest allies increasingly move toward future systems architectures that enhance their joint security, LinQuest looks forward to playing an expanding role in both the definition and realization of those solutions.
