[SatNews] MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) has signed contract amendments with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

These contract amendments are for the Design Phase of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM), which involves developing the detailed design of the RCM and all of its subsystems. This is the precursor to the Build Phase. MDA has been working on this contract under an Authorization To Proceed, since March 17, 2010. The value of the latest amendments totals $35.9 Million (CAD) and brings the contract value for the Design Phase to $123 Million (CAD).
