On Friday, October 16, 2026, aerospace manufacturer Blue Origin announced that its cumulative capital investment in Florida launch, processing, and assembly infrastructure has exceeded $3 billion.

The milestone accompanies a newly announced $330 million expansion of its Rocket Park campus at Cape Canaveral, designed to scale ground facilities ahead of high-cadence New Glenn flight operations targeted for summer 2027.
Strategic Expansion Across Texas and Florida Launch Hubs
The Space Coast capital commitment builds upon Blue Origin’s recent investment of $550 million toward its Constellation Park satellite complex in Texas, which followed a $10 billion institutional equity funding round valuing the enterprise at $140 billion. By expanding launch pad infrastructure in tandem with dedicated satellite production facilities, the company is preparing its heavy-lift architecture to support high-density commercial manifests, such as Amazon’s Project Kuiper broadband constellation, alongside NASA Artemis lunar exploration programs.
Rocket Park Facility Specifications and Upper Stage Throughput
The company’s Florida footprint encompasses more than 20 operational sites across Brevard and Orange counties, employing more than 5,000 personnel. The new $330 million phase will add two launch and landing pads for New Glenn and erect a customer integration facility alongside the U.S. Space Force at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station to process multiple payloads simultaneously. Slated for completion by summer 2027, the expanded manufacturing complex will support production of up to 150 New Glenn upper stages annually to enable multiple weekly flights by the end of the decade.
Launch Pad Reconstruction and Operational Flight Schedule
The ground expansion progresses in parallel with facility recovery efforts following an anomaly in May, when a New Glenn vehicle suffered a launchpad explosion at Launch Complex 36. Technicians are completing restoration work at Launch Complex 36A and constructing a vertical integration building to support New Glenn’s return to flight in early 2027, paving the way for multi-vehicle flight operations beginning in summer 2027.
