The new DataPath office in India is its first local marketing office outside the US and Sweden, and is one of several infrastructure investments the company has planned for the year to strengthen and expand its relationships with existing and potential customers. DataPath has long served customers in the Indian broadcast market and will now also focus on the defense sector. Fully committed to supporting the government of India’s “Make in India” initiative, DataPath is actively pursuing strategic partnerships with companies in public as well as private domains for in-country design and manufacture of various sought-after products from its well-established portfolio.

DataPath has a 25-year history of providing reliable communications equipment and services to government and commercial customers worldwide. In addition to a broad portfolio spanning a range of terminals, network management software, cyber security services, 24/7 customer support and a globally deployed field services team, the company recently announced its expanded ability to offer comprehensive solutions. Through partnership with major fleet operators, DataPath now offers end-to-end solutions including satellite bandwidth, equipment and services.
Driven by strong growth in 2015, DataPath announced last month that its strategic plan for 2016 includes significant investments in facility upgrades, business development positions, and new product and service offerings. Additional sales and customer support offices are expected to open in Dubai, Singapore and Australia by the end of the year, resulting in a significantly expanded international footprint.
To lead the New Delhi office, DataPath has appointed Anil Singh as Business Development Manager for India. Singh is a telecommunications veteran with more than two decades of broad experience with tactical communication systems and networks including installation, operations, management and maintenance.
