Spectrum™ MediaDeck™ 7000 SSD Integrated Media Server—This is a four-channel media server system offering reliability, low power requirements, and the lower weight of solid-state disk (SSD) storage, while providing the broadcast quality and cost-effective design of the MediaDeck 7000. Equipped with four 480GB SSD drives, the MediaDeck 7000 SSD provides 57 hours of 50Mbps storage capacity. The integrated system packs up to four SD or HD video channels and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity into its compact 1-RU chassis. The flexible server system also features multiple-codec playback, up/down/crossconversion, and HD/SD simulcast capabilities. Like the other members of the Spectrum family, the MediaDeck 7000 SSD supports Spectrum ChannelPort™. - ProStream® With ACE®—Harmonic will make its Indian debut of several new innovative capabilities for ProStream® with ACE®, the industry’s first truly converged solution for advanced processing and transcoding of SD and HD MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) video and audio for broadcast and over-the-top (OTT) mobile/Web applications. Leveraging this highly versatile and ultra-dense processing platform, telco operators can perform a wide range of tasks including any-to-any and any-to-many video/audio transcoding, automatic audio level adjustment, statistical multiplexing, advanced remultiplexing, scrambling, and descrambling.
- ProMedia™ Live—Designed to address the increasing consumer demand for multiscreen television services, this offering is a real-time video processing and encoding system with enhanced H.264 video codec technology for creating high-quality Internet video streams. During Convergence India, Harmonic will demonstrate how IPTV operators can transcode baseband SD and HD, MPEG-2, or MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) content to multiple H.264 streams optimized for adaptive bitrate delivery. Entirely software-based, ProMedia Live is part of Harmonic’s ProMedia family of video preparation and processing solutions for production and multiscreen applications.
