Last Year’s Vizada Trade-Up Program Returns

Vizada is extending its popular Trade-Up to Iridium promotion based on feedback from Service Providers — due to the overwhelming success of last year’s promotion, Vizada is bringing back the the program, which now runs through September 30, 2009.

The initiative is designed to allow North American Globalstar customers to earn a rebate on their Globalstar equipment and easily switch to Iridium’s proven global mobile satellite phone services. The Trade-Up to Iridium promotion is one example of how Vizada works to provide more customer choice and ensure customer confidence.

During last year’s promotion, Vizada led Iridium Service Providers with the activation of more than 40 percent of all new Iridium subscribers who activated under this promotion and collected close to 50 percent of the total Globalstar equipment turned in under this promotion. Starting immediately, Vizada Service Providers will be able to use The Source®, Vizada’s complete account management tool, to activate new Iridium Trade-Up subscribers. To help Service Providers speed their response time to end customers, The Source allows batch activation of Iridium service for applications such as disaster response. This greatly reduces error and gets end customers activated quickly and easily.
