Globalsat Group and MultiSAT Mexico announce the signing of a strategic alliance through which MultiSAT Mexico forms part of the Globalsat Group, leader in Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) solutions in Latin America.

This agreement integrates the first Pan-American mobile satellite service provider, offering customers and users of satellite services solutions with global coverage, in addition to local licenses, sales, customer service and technical support.

Additionally, MultiSAT becomes the exclusive provider in Mexico of Globalsat Group’s solutions, specially focusing in value added services for the M2M, Oil & Gas, Mining, Media, Defense and Civil Government. MultiSAT will also offer its portfolio of services and value added solutions for the maritime market in the whole region through Globalsat Group’s network of distributors and local offices.

As part of this agreement Porfirio Suarez, CEO of MultiSAT, joins the board of Globalsat Group. Porfirio has extensive experience in mobile satellite services based on his 18 years of work in sales, marketing and business development for Latin America with leading companies such as Globalsat, ICO, Vodafone-AirTouch, Iridium and Stratos.

Through this agreement, Globalsat Group, the MSS group with highest growth in Latin America, increases its leadership position and consolidates itself as a complete turnkey satellites service provider in throughout the Americas.
