ViaLite’s range of high performance RF over fiber products drew attention at the Eurosatory defense and security exhibition in Paris — the company's SATCOM ground equipment was being promoted by Eurosatcom, ViaLite’s recently appointed distributor for France.

Products highlighted on the Eurosatcom stand included the hot swappable ViaLiteHD 3U rack chassis, set up in a half and half configuration to illustrate the various options available. Included were normal RF rack cards (silver faces) and RF rack cards for Defense and Government applications, such as the Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) links (CARC tan faces).

Helping to staff the stand were Amair Khan, ViaLite’s Global Business Development Manager, and Eurosatcom Managing Director Samy Nasrallah.

Samy Nasrallah said that the company always exhibit at Eurosatory to reach the leading integrators and administrations. The addition of ViaLite’s RF over fiber products this year perfectly complemented the firm's existing range and, as expected, generated a high level of interest from visitors.

Eurosatory, the international land and air defense exhibition, which also covers civil and homeland security, occurs every two years and was launched in 1967 and has seen the number of attendees and exhibitors increase each session. This year there were 1,802 exhibitors and more than 57,000 visitors from 153 countries.
