Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), the producer of commercial modeling and analysis software for the space, defense and intelligence communities, has been awarded a GSA delivery order contract from the U.S. Air Force Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC)/Space Superiority Systems Directorate (SY) to provide its Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Software Suite to the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) Mission System (JMS) program.
The JSpOC Mission System will replace the legacy Space Defense Operations Center (SPADOC) system and is designed to deliver integrated, net-centric Space Situational Awareness and Space Command & Control (C2) capability.
AGI’s SSA Software Suite brings accredited, modular software to JMS which will reduce the program’s cost and schedule, while increasing performance. The SSA Software Suite is compatible with the JMS Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and provides tools for catalog maintenance, including observation and maneuver processing, sensor calibration and additional capabilities mission-critical to the JSpOC.
This solution is delivered in a SOA designed for scalability and reliability, and integrated with a database that enables secure operations and web-based user interactions. The JMS program office has determined that the acquisition of AGI’s existing commercial capabilities represents an overall best value to achieve the program’s tenets and requirements.
“As intentional and unintentional threats rise, getting advanced SSA capabilities to the warfighter is critical. We’re proud that together with the Air Force and the rest of the JMS team, we can quickly provide these urgently needed capabilities,” says Paul Graziani, AGI chief executive officer.
“The AGI team is extremely excited about the JMS award. It represents a tremendous value to the taxpayer, the JMS program and most importantly, the warfighter,” says Travis Langster, AGI vice president, DoD and Intel Space Business.
AGI software has been used since 1994 by U.S. national security organizations working in the SSA domain.
