[SatNews] On October 18 to 22, 2010, the altimetry and hydrology community will meet in Lisbon, Portugal, for the Altimetry for Oceans and Hydrology conference. Co-organised by EUMETSAT and the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES), the French space agency, the conference will review recent achievements, identify challenges and provide a forum to reflect on user requirements for future systems. The Altimetry for Oceans and Hydrology conference will comprise of three individual events:
  • The 2010 Ocean Surface Topography Science Team (OST-ST) meeting on 18-20 October
  • A special meeting entitled Towards High Resolution of Ocean Dynamics and Terrestrial Surface Waters from Space on 21-22 October
  • The International Doris Service Workshop (IDS) on 21-22 October

The conference will be held in the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (Lisbon International Fair), Portugal, on October 18-22, 2010.
