Having been active in more than 100 U.S. satellite programs, the Passive Microwave Devices product line acquisition by COM DEV USA, LLC, has now been completed for US$12.2 million. In fact, COM DEV International, the parent company, has now increased its guidance to 15 to 20 percent revenue growth during fiscal 2008, as compared to guidance of 10 to 15 percent growth, prior to the acquisition. The Passive Microwave Devices line produces and designs space-qualified components that include multiplexers, filters, switches, and ancillary components. Through this acquisition, COM DEV gains 65 skilled employees and intellectual properties, including more than 100 patents cultivated over the product line’s 35-year history—El Segundo, California
