Intelsat, Ltd. announced GlobeCast has signed additional channels for its WorldTV Direct-to-Home (DTH) service in Europe using prime Intelsat capacity on the Intelsat 905 satellite, located at 335.5º E. This DTH platform supports free-to-air as well as subscription channels and allows programmers to reach home audiences via antennas as small as 60 cm. Intelsat and GlobeCast ensure seamless delivery of content from various points across the globe to the platform gateway in Europe.
