More To See At IBC

International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC) is presenting new products for IPTV, Digital Cinema and other multimedia applications. Two of the firm’s high growth vertical markets are IPTV and digital cinema. In fact, IDC has successfully provided technology for SES Americom’s new IP Prime IPTV service and AccessIT’s digital cinema project. At IBC, you can view their complete head-end solutions, plus a family of interoperable DVB-S/S2 receivers for delivery of SD and HDTV live, plus Video on Demand (VOD) content via satellite. Goodies include M for N receiver redundancy for fail-safe operation of large numbers of channels over multiple transponders, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 AVC encoding, a choice of industry standard decryption/CAS options, transport stream transcoding to IP and built-in multicasting for integration with Telco and CATV IP distribution networks. You can also glom onto their end-to-end solutions for the delivery of both file-encoded movies and live events for digital cinema and e-cinema applications. Some of the key features include multiple layers of encryption/CAS for extra security, built-in “on the fly” forward error correction using IDC’s flagship Datacast XD software and DVD-S2 8PSK or 16APSK delivery. IDC will be ready to roll to show these, and more, in Hall 1, Booth 131.



ND SatCom has a number of “hot topics” for the IBC exposition. They’ll be showing and discussing their SkyRAY Light 1200, which is on the shortlist for CSI Product of the Year Awards 2007. This is a lightweight antenna subsystem for mobile VSAT and SNG applications. You can also checkout their range of uplink systems for HDTV applications, all supported by SkyRAY and high power amplifiers such as the new 750-Watt HPA with linearizer.
