NEW YORK, NEW YORK: August 21, 2007—Satnews Daily—There are two senior appointments at CIT Group Inc. within the company’s Aerospace & Defense Financing Unit. Rick Phillips has been named Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Council, and Chris Cantwell is now the Director, Structured Finance. Phillips will be based in Los Angeles and will drive CIT’s relationships with distributors and suppliers in the aerospace, defense and government and homeland security industries, among others. Cantwell will work to provide structured financing options for CIT’s aerospace and commercial aviation clients.
