[SatNews] Applied Systems Engineering has released a new product, Model 187Ka TWT Amplifier. Applied Systems Engineering, Inc. is a high technology small business engaged in the development and production of Microwave Amplifiers and Transmitters for a variety of applications.

The Model 187Ka TWT Amplifier has been specifically designed to operate pulsed traveling wave tubes up to 200 watts peak power at frequencies in the 34-36 GHz range. Grid pulse performance provides flat topped RF pulses from 50 ns to 100 μs, up to 50 percent duty cycle, with rise and fall times of less than 15 ns, and PRF up to 100 kHz. Computer control interfaces available are IEEE-488, RS-232/422 and Ethernet.
