[Satnews] Redundant 1:1, "Hot Swappable," Block Upconverters and Downconverters, all resident within a self-contained 1RU Chassis, have been released by GeoSync Microwave.

The company's Microwave R1D Series Converters offer a fully redundant configuration with two independent Block Upconverters or Downconverters in a 1RU chassis.  The RF SATCOM frequency bands of L-, C-, X-, Ku-, K- and DBS- are available.  Each converter offers an independent power supply and can be supplied with an optional internal 10 MHz frequency reference oscillator.  A 10/100BASE-T Ethernet is standard, as are many other important features.  For complete specs on the 1:1 Redundant Block Converters and a list of options, please refer to Specification Sheet GS30-SPC that is available at this direct link.
