This was the 5th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-32, NROL-69, GPS III-7, and now two Starlink missions.
The early morning launch carried 27 Starlink satellites and the afternoon liftoff sent 26 more of the relay satellites skyward, totaling SpaceX’s network to more than 7,900 active units, per satellite tracker Jonathan McDowell.

SpaceX is targeting Friday/Saturday, June 28 for a Falcon 9 launch of 27 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit for the Starlink mega-constellation from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for Friday, 9:26 p.m. PST/Saturday 12:26 a.m. ET, with backup opportunities available until 4:26 a.m. ET. If needed, additional opportunities are also available on Sunday, June 29 starting at 12:04 a.m. ET. The cost of the launch is $52 Million.
The forecast calls for a temperature of 78°F, light rain, 59% cloud cover, a wind speed of 14mph and 0.52in of rain.
