MADRID — Cloudcomputing, a Portuguese specialist in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and part of the Allurity European cybersecurity group, announced a major strategic expansion in Spain on Monday. The company aims to manage more than 1.5 million digital identities in the Spanish market by 2027, supported by a 10% revenue surge in Q1 2026 compared to the entirety of the previous fiscal year.

Coinciding with this expansion, Cloudcomputing has finalized the acquisition of UK-based Innovate IT Ltd. The transaction is designed to increase the company’s cloud delivery capacity by 400% in the UK and US markets while strengthening its technical expertise in Okta and Auth0 deployments.
Strategic Response to AI-Driven Vulnerabilities
The intensification of Cloudcomputing’s investment in Iberia is driven by a sharpening threat landscape. According to the company, cyberattacks in Spain have escalated significantly, with over 122,000 annual incidents now affecting critical infrastructure, banking, and government sectors.
The rise of “Agentic AI” and the explosion of remote work have created new vulnerabilities in legacy authentication systems. Cloudcomputing’s growth strategy centers on “Identity-Centric Security”—a multi-layered architecture utilizing Zero Trust principles to secure complex, cloud-native environments. This approach is increasingly critical as regional investments, such as Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) planned €18 billion infrastructure commitment in Spain, drive demand for advanced federated identity systems.
M&A Integration and Sector Expansion
The acquisition of Innovate IT Ltd marks a turning point in Cloudcomputing’s international footprint. Founded in 2010, the Portuguese firm has delivered over 600 projects globally. By integrating Innovate IT’s two decades of IAM experience, Cloudcomputing is expanding its service reach into new verticals, including:
- Public Administration and Healthcare
- Sports, Entertainment, and Media
- Retail and Logistics
This move reinforces the broader mission of the Allurity Group—a European cybersecurity collective with approximately 800 professionals across 18 countries—to build a decentralized but unified front against sophisticated global cyber threats.
Executive Commentary
“In Spain, attacks have risen from 30% to 75%, reflecting a broader European trend,” stated Ricardo Martins, CEO of Cloudcomputing. “Our company has decided to focus on Spain for 2026 and 2027 to address the vulnerabilities created by AI and automation. This acquisition of Innovate IT allows us to reinforce our capabilities across the entire identity value chain, from strategic definition to managed services.”
Timeline for Integration
Following the close of the Innovate IT acquisition, Cloudcomputing will focus on harmonizing its “Identity, Governance & Trust for AI” framework across its Portuguese, Spanish, and UK operations. The company expects the full integration of Innovate IT’s technical teams to be completed by the end of Q3 2026, positioning the firm to lead multi-national identity projects for high-compliance sectors throughout 2027.
