RESTON, VIRGINIA: August 14, 2007–Satnews Daily–Last Friday, Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) heard from the International Bureau of the FCC they had met the beginning physical milestone associated with the authorization for the construction of the MSV-1 satellite. This means the company is now able to reduce their bond amount in half, from $1.5 million to $750,000. MSV’s two, nextgen satellites are scheduled for launches in 2009 and 2010. Currently their MSAT-1 and MSAT-2 satellites deliver mobile wireless voice and data services for public safety, security, fleet management and asset tracking in the U.S. and Canada.
