(December 15, 2025 – New York City) – The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced that Saudi Net Link has achieved Tier 3 certification of its Khobar and Rawabi-Riyadh teleports in Saudi Arabia under the WTA’s Teleport Certification Program.
Marking the 1st Certified Teleports in Saudi Arabia
The certification of these facilities marks the 73rd and 74th issued since the program’s inception at IBC 2015. Currently, another seven teleports are engaged in the quality evaluation process. The program provides transparent, independently verified standards, allowing teleports to differentiate their services and helping customers select the appropriate price-performance level for their specific applications.
The Certification Process
To achieve Full Certification, the WTA dispatches an auditor to the teleport to:
- Validate data submitted in a comprehensive questionnaire.
- Identify factors that may positively or negatively impact the facility’s quality score.
- Assign a Tier rating from 1 to 4 (with Tier 4 representing the highest degree of excellence).
Full Certification remains in effect for three years. Saudi Net Link now joins an elite group of operators, including IABG Teleport, Speedcast, Eutelsat, and SES, who have met these rigorous international standards.

“At Saudi Net Link, our vision has always been to deliver satellite communication services that meet the highest global standards of reliability and performance.
