Winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts from Euroconsult, SpaceNews, and SatelliteFinance, who assess candidates using rigorous qualitative[1] and quantitative[2] criteria.

"Gazprom Space Systems is a Russian satellite operator. Its orbital constellation consists of three Yamal satellites and covers the biggest part of the Eastern Hemisphere. Also the company has a wide ground infrastructure in Russia. Thanks to commissioning of the new satellites Yamal 300К and Yamal-402 Gazprom Space Systems expanded the geography of business, entering the African market and increasing the presence in the Middle East. The revenue of the company in 2013 grew by 29 percent. The next Yamal-401 satellite will be launched this year."
Newcomer Satellite Operator of the Year
Es'hailSat, Ali Al Kuwari, CEO
