LANHAM, MARYLAND: August 18, 2007—Satnews Daily—Another company thrilled with the dual launch of the Spaceway 3 and BSAT-3a satellites aboard Ariane 5 happens to be Integral Systems, Inc. After all, they supplied the command and control systems, all based on their EPOCH IPS (Integrated Product Suite). This was the 5th commercial GEO (Geostationary Earth Orbiting) communications satellite launched this year for which Integral systems supplied the system. That’s a support record of 50 percent for all commercial GEO’s launched this year!
Over the next six months, the company expects to support the launches of four additional GEO satellites with their EPOCH IS system. Additionally, two LEO imaging satellites, SAR-Lupe 3 and 4, will also use the Integral Systems technology as well as the U.S. Air Force’s WGS-F1 GEO vehicle. All are expected to launch over the next six months.
