ParaZero Technologies announced on April 6, 2026, that it has secured a follow-on purchase order from an Israeli defense entity for its DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems.

This additional order is part of an ongoing direct contract and reflects the increasing urgency for effective anti-drone solutions following recent conflicts where small, agile drones have become a primary risk to ground forces and critical infrastructure.
Based in Kfar Saba, ParaZero has positioned itself as a specialist in autonomous aerospace safety, and this latest procurement highlights the operational trust placed in its non-kinetic interception technology.
The DefendAir system distinguishes itself by utilizing a patented net-launching mechanism, which is categorized as a soft-kill solution. Unlike kinetic systems that use explosives or projectiles, DefendAir captures hostile drones in a physical net.
This approach is specifically designed to minimize collateral damage, making it a preferred choice for protecting troops in urban environments or near sensitive infrastructure where falling debris or explosions could cause secondary harm. ParaZero reports that the system has maintained a one-hundred percent interception success rate during extensive field trials, proving capable of neutralizing evolving unmanned threats.
Ariel Alon, the CEO of ParaZero, stated that this order underscores the necessity for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities in modern warfare. The DefendAir units provided in this latest batch are intended to ensure immediate operational readiness for Israeli forces as they face a surge in drone-based threats.
By integrating these systems into their broader defense architecture, the procurement entity aims to create a multi-layered shield that can address everything from reconnaissance quadcopters to tactical loitering munitions.
The company’s broader portfolio also includes the SafeAir system, an autonomous parachute designed for commercial drone safety and regulatory compliance, and DropAir, a system for precision aerial deliveries.
This diverse range of products allows ParaZero to support the entire lifecycle of unmanned operations, from ensuring the safety of friendly drones to the interception of hostile ones. As the global defense market continues to adapt to the reality of drone-dominated battlefields, ParaZero is leveraging its Nasdaq listing and Israeli combat-tested heritage to expand its reach to governmental and industrial clients worldwide.
