“We want to be close to our US customers—in order to support them in the most efficient and tailored way,” said Peter Guggenbach, CEO of RUAG Space. “Since the incorporation of our US entity, less than two years ago, RUAG Space has opened locations in four states. Each site, from California to Alabama, is moving full speed ahead, setting up engineering offices and manufacturing facilities, and hiring a talented and professional US workforce.”
The sites are strategically aligned with customers, partners, and relevant research and technology hubs. RUAG’s growing US team stretches over the US headquarters and large composites manufacturing facility in Huntsville and Decatur, Alabama; to the newest engineering facility located in Silicon Valley; the Denver engineering office; and the Florida production facility for satellite structures.
“It is an exciting time for RUAG,” said Guggenbach, “as we are in a position to offer an even broader range of services and products manufactured in the US to customers in the market.”
