Developing relationships with others to help increase your company’s presence in any market is a darned good idea… that is why The Boeing Company is hosting the 17th Annual Supplier Diversity Marketplace. Held in Carson, California, more than 200 businesses, both diverse and small in size, can meet in person with event sponsors Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman and Raytheon, as well as other large business and government agencies.
The theme is “Diverse Suppliers – Strategic Strength.” This is the only event of its kind that’s sponsored by defense prime contractors. Suppliers have the opportunity to showcase their products, services and technical capabilities to more than 30 large companies, agencies and other participating organizations. And there are workshops, as well. At last year’s event, also hosted by Boeing, some topics included how to effectively navigate the request for quote, request for information and request for proposal processes. Plus, there was a major session on strengthening small business through strategic means such as access to capital and investment planning.
