RigNet, Inc. has named P. Eliassen as vice president and general manager of the Company’s Europe Africa region; John Moffatt as vice president and general manager of the Company’s Middle East region; and Hector Maytorena as vice president of global sales and marketing. Eliassen has been with RigNet since 2002, shortly after the Company was founded. He will be based in Stavanger, Norway. Most recently, he has been serving as vice president of global sales, marketing, and new product development from the Company’s Houston headquarters office. Moffatt joins RigNet from Weatherford International, a leading oilfield services company. He will be based in Doha, Qatar. Moffatt has had a relevant and distinguished career in oilfield services at both Weatherford and Halliburton in the Middle East and the North Sea markets. Most recently, John has been serving as director of Weatherford Direct, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Maytorena has a long history within the remote communications industry, holding various sales, marketing, and business development leadership roles with increasing responsibility at Stratos Global Corporation’s Broadband Division.
