The World Teleport Association (WTA) has named TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) [NASDAQGM:TSYS] to its prestigious “Fast Twenty” and “Independent Top Twenty” rankings for the second consecutive year. WTA’s annual rankings provide the only independently compiled rankings of teleport operating companies. The “Fast Twenty” ranks all teleport-operating companies based on year-over-year revenue growth in their most recent fiscal years. Total revenues of the 2007 “Fast Twenty” exceed $7.5 billion. The “Independent Top Twenty” ranks companies based on total revenue from all sources but exclude companies whose core business is ownership and operation of a satellite fleet or terrestrial network. The total revenues of the “Independent Top Twenty” exceed $2.2 billion.
