In a statement released Tuesday, January 27, 2026, French antenna manufacturer Anywaves and Luxembourg-based electronics specialist EmTroniX announced a strategic merger to form a unified industrial group.

The new entity combines expertise in antenna design and advanced radio frequency (RF) electronics to position itself as a global provider of integrated payload subsystems for the telecommunications, Earth observation, and space exploration markets. Nicolas Capet, founder of Anywaves, will serve as the Chairman of the newly established group.
Integration of RF and Payload Expertise
The merger follows a period of operational collaboration between the two companies on high-profile missions. Notably, Anywaves and EmTroniX previously partnered on the Blue Water Intelligence REVALTO project, where they jointly developed the RF radar payload. This successful integration demonstrated the complementarity between Anywaves’ antenna technology and EmTroniX’s background in software-defined radio (SDR) and advanced digital signal processing.
By consolidating these capabilities, the group aims to offer “seamless” solutions, reducing the technical integration risks for satellite prime contractors who previously sourced these elements from separate vendors.
Technical and Industrial Footprint
The unified group currently employs more than 110 specialists across three primary regions: France, Luxembourg, and the United States. This geographic presence is intended to serve both commercial and defense markets at a global level. In the U.S., the group will leverage the Anywaves US subsidiary—launched in August 2025—to support local assembly and innovation partnerships.
In Europe, the entity will focus on dual-use programs in coordination with the European Space Agency (ESA), the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), and the European Defence Agency (EDA), contributing to regional technological sovereignty in critical RF components.

Strategically, the merger allows the group to move from providing individual components to delivering fully integrated payload subsystems.
As the global space market continues to demand high-volume production for satellite constellations, the new group is positioned to streamline its manufacturing processes and enhance its competitiveness against larger, vertically integrated aerospace conglomerates.
