Forsway, a provider of hybrid/satellite-terrestrial solutions for broadband connectivity, has appointed Stefan Gustafsson to the firm’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Gustafsson is the Former Chief Strategist at the Swedish Space Corporation, and formerly a top leader of the Swedish armed forces. Gustafsson brings extensive experience from numerous board roles in both the public and private sectors, along with a strong track record in developing and delivering advanced space services on the global market.
In late 2024, Forsway secured a major development funding contract from the European Space Agency (ESA), with support from the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA). As part of the Xtend 5G project, the company is building a next-generation, 5G, two-way, hybrid satellite connectivity system designed to provide seamless broadband connectivity anywhere—in an open and closed network—optimal for public sector and defense organization.
