ND SATCOM (NDS) recently unveiled the company’s full experience according to the launched new campaign “Xperience the NDS factor” with a day-long factory event that highlighted innovations in secure satellite communications (SATCOM).
Included in the event were live demos, an expert panel, new products and networking opportunities, and participants were immersed in the NDS world covering the Defence, Government and Broadcast sectors. Of particular note was the live airborne solution demo, displaying how rapidly NDS’s system adapts to the helicopter rotor speed and how efficiently it behaves.
As well, the SATCOM-On-The-Move (SOTM) live demo highly engaged participants in how easily NDS’s mobile and stationary terminals can be combined into a flexible satellite network without need for a large hub station. Ease and flexibility, combined with the utmost in reliability and security, are the hallmarks of a complete NDS solution customers now being sought by customers.
The entire NDS team welcomed and assisted customers, partners, international press and local officials throughout the day, while NDS leadership provided strategic insights to attendees and technical experts shared their expertise in areas ranging from antenna systems and HPAs to secure networks and tactical communications.
All participants were able to tailor their afternoon experience from a variety of guided tours through our “maintenance and support facilities” and the “antenna measurement chamber,” as well as through the various exhibition stations of our products and solutions. A summer party rounded out the highly successful event.
