PACTEC flight operations assist with emergency relief, medical evacuations, and development project transportation in hostile and remote conditions. By using SkyTrac’s flight following and SatCom solutions, PACTEC is able to increase the safety and efficiency of their operations. PACTEC provides services in areas where security situations can change rapidly. When an airport or remote airstrip becomes an unsafe destination, PACTEC has relied on VHF and HF radios to communicate this information between aircraft and ground. This method has proved to be ineffective for them putting their crew, humanitarian workers, and those they served at risk.
