Telenor Sustained + Honored With Award

Each year, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) invite the 2,500 largest companies based on the Dow Jones Global Index to participate in SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment. This year, the Telenor Group has been ranked as the best Mobile Telecom company in the world by the Sustainability Yearbook 2008. In fact, the company was awarded this title for SAM Sector Leader and SAM Sector Mover. Telenor managed the risk deriving from sector-specific economic, environmental and social developments as well as for improving its sustainability performance during 2007.
