The new Senior Vice President, Human Resources, at SES AMERICOM is Mary Kathryn (Katy) Uhl. She is now responsible for a broad spectrum of human resources requirements that include talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, organizational development, employee relations and communications, plus training and management development. She’ll serve on the company’s management committee and will report directly to the company’s President and CEO, Edward Horowitz. Ms. Uhl spent the past five years with Comsat, both at the corporate headquarters leading human resources for the programming division, and at Comcast Media Center in Denver where she established a comprehensive HR function to support bi-coastal staffing and facilities. She also has experience at DIRECTV and for the Marriott International Hotel—Princeton, New Jersey
