Shiron Satellite Communications has opened an office in Brazil. The new office will handle Shiron activities, installed base, and the company’s strategic push into this market. “Shiron Satellite Communications regards South America as strategic in importance, especially in light of the fast growth in this region, and the projects we are currently involved in these regions. InterSKY unique features offer distinctive advantages to these region customers, and based on our success in 2007, we are certain that Brazil will add to our company’s fast growth,” noted Oscar Golttman, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Shiron Satellite Communications. Additionally, Mr. Paulo Berlinsky, formerly of Gilat Satellite Networks, had been named Director of Sales for Brazil, and will report directly to Mr. Camilo Balzan, Vice President of Sales, Latin America. With more than 10 years in the Latin American Satellite communication industry, Mr. Berlinsky brings to Shiron Satellite Communications rich experience in sales and technical experience—Tel Aviv, Israel
