Relief—Registration Audits Successful For Comtech EF Data

Comtech EF Data Corporation has achieved AS 9100 Revision B / ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification for the design, manufacture and servicing of satellite, RF, microwave and terrestrial data communications equipment. The registration audits were completed in August, 2007, and the certificate was received in November, 2007. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 series of standards outlines a process approach to implementing and supporting a Quality Management System. The standards are recognized globally as the framework for effectively managed, customer-focused business systems. The AS 9100 series is an ISO 9001 based set of standards developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group that addresses the stringent quality requirements of the aerospace industry. Certification against AS 9100 Revision B standard requirements covers design, manufacture and service of equipment, and includes 99 additional requirements beyond what is required for ISO 9001:2000 certification—Tempe, Arizona
