Cerona Networks Corporation is absolutely delighted that a billion-dollar leading defense company has selected Cerona’s SkyDSR-DT as the service replacement of its Integrated Receiver Decoder expressly for the multicast of IP video, audio and data products to the warfighter. The Cerona receiver will become the DVB-S/S2 standard for its entire ground-based receive systems. The defense company intends to integrate the SkyDSR-DT into all new production orders. Program requirements call for a purchase of as many as to 500 new systems, as well as the upgrade of approximately 600 deployed
systems. The SkyDSR-DT meets the defense company’s mission-specific requirements to receive information from two satellites simultaneously via a dual tuner receiver.
