Stagecoach Cartage and Distribution received approval from the Mexico Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) to operate in Mexico. This marks the start of a yearlong, cross-border demo project allowing U.S. trucking companies to operate in Mexico for the first time.
Since 2003, Stagecoach’s entire truckload fleet of 350 trailers has been outfitted with the patented Global Locating System (GLS) trailer tracking technology from SkyBitz. The SkyBitz GLS 200 mobile units enable Stagecoach to have real-time visibility to every trailer in the fleet – whether they’re in the U.S. or Mexico.
