SpaceX Group 10-17 smallsats send off from sunny California

Two SpaceX launches on Sunday, October 19, from each coast began in sunny California with Falcon 9 launching 28 Starlink smallsats to low-Earth orbit to join the Starlink constellation from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, a 12:24 p.m.

This was the 11th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission that previously launched NROL-126, Transporter-12, SPHEREx, NROL-57, and now seven Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which was stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

The second SpaceX launch on Sunday, October 19 occurred when Falcon 9 launched 28 Starlink smallsats to join the Starlink constellation in low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, at 1:39 p.m. ET.

This was the 31st flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission that previously launched CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, O3B mPOWER-A, PSN SATRIA, Telkomsat Merah Putih 2, Galileo L13, Koreasat-6A, and now 20 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Launches that are planned for this week include two more doubles in a day.
