One of a suite of products, it is based on GaN technology and offers a robust and flexible added value solution for multi-carrier uplinks. Modular and scalable, it provides GaN DBS SSPAs from 550W saturated power as standalone equipment up to higher power GaN SSPAs at 1KW, 2KW and 3.5KW through a phased combination. Already widely used in satellite broadcasting by many major teleport operators across Europe, it is one of a kind in the market at DBS frequency band, offering a reliable, cost-effective solution.

This is a modular, scalable electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) that enables space equipment builders or integrators to test and simulate different electrical interfaces in a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient manner. Callisto designs, manufactures and markets maintenance-free cryogenic LNAs that provide outstanding Ground Station Noise Temperature (NT). Using its expertise in Radio Frequencies and Cryogenic Systems, the business also provides a range of services including consultancy, engineering services, equipment design, system integration, RF MMICs Integration Services and thermal cycling testing at its facilities located near Toulouse, France. In 2020 the business was awarded a five year contract to upgrade the European Space Agency’s deep space antennas with the latest generation Callisto Cryogenic Receivers. These cryo-cooled feed systems have been designed to provide continuous cryogenic operation using an innovative system of two cold heads running in parallel, with the ability to remove one cold head for maintenance while the second is still cooling the RF components.
Celestia UK is building the next generation of very high data throughput satellite communication antennas for ground-based equipment to support the rapidly emerging new space environment. The business is working with the European Space Agency, UK Space Agency and commercial partners to develop compact, highly capable fully electronic multi-beam scanning gateways with no moving parts that address the demanding requirements of next generation data applications for ground stations and user terminals.
