SkyTrac has been selected to provide satellite communication and flight following systems to Sloan Helicopters, a provider of helicopter charter services for the oil and gas and forest management. Based in Lesser Slave Lake, Alberta, Sloan Helicopters will install SkyTrac on its fleet of Eurocopter EC120B and Robinson RH44 Raven II aircraft to enhance operational safety while operating in remote locations. Alberta Sloan Helicopters offers a wide variety of helicopter services including: forest fire management, forest and timber management, tree planting, oil and gas support, land surveying support, external load work, medevac, general charter, reclamation, aerial inspection and surveillance, aerial mapping, aerial photography and conservation. SkyTrac has acquired a long list of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and the company’s hardware has been installed on a large number of rotary and fixed wing aircraft types—Kelowna, British Columbia
