- The launch of the KIZUNA satellite has been postponed. The reason? There was an incompatibility found within the gas jet thruster for second stage altitude control during propellant loading operations. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will announced a new launch date as soon as such can be determined. The launch aboard H-IIA Launch Vehicle 14 (H-IIA F14) was originally scheduled for February 15th. KIZUNA is a super high-speed data communications satellite with speeds up to 1.2 Gbps.
